Meet Jindi, a beautiful female koala just 18 months old.
Jindi was found unwell in the wild and is a victim of the devastating koala chlamydia crisis. She is suffering from conjunctivitis in both eyes, a symptom of the disease that can lead to blindness and may also impact her ability to reproduce in the wild.
Thankfully, Jindi is now receiving the care she needs and has been vaccinated against chlamydia, helping protect her from future infection.
Saving endangered koalas remains a top priority for Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, and we’re so grateful for the support they receive both locally and globally.
