Ode to the Ancestors MkII an allegorical work commenting on the possible future trajectory of humans. Will AI replace humans with a better equipped system capable of navigating our pollutive legacy? After cleaning up after us, AIs physical manifestations are earth’s new caretakers, reverting to early-stage cultures where hunting, gathering and material cultures live harmoniously with the environment, taking only what they need from new bountiful landscapes of sea and land.
AI collects its bounty from the sea, silhouetted against sky and water, invoking mythic and totemic themes.
